Marti-Pair Furxhéir

The Honourable Marti-Pair Furxhéir, born on 30 May 1976 was nominated Foreign Affairs minister and Distain in September 2005. Previously, he served as  provisional Secretary of State, running all of the elections in the Republic until the constitution was ratified as well as the first Túischac'h of the Republic. He also serves as Database administrator for the Secretary of State office and as technical wizard for Wittenberg and Talossa.com.

When he was citizen of the former Kingdom of Talossa, Furxhéir was known as the Resident Miracle Worker juggling between the major bureaucratic, legislative and technical jobs of the Kingdom: Secretary of State, Cosâ member, Senator, Wittmeister, Database Administrator, Minister of Stuff, Talossanomics co-founder and even at some point Immigration Minister. If a job requiring work was left unhandled, the Miracle Worker was on the case.

Throughout his time in the former Kingdom of Talossa, he was an important member of the powerful PC party. His ideals have always been to increase the importance of the Web presence of Talossa by providing quality web sites containing all the information about the nation. The former Kingdom's Database system, which was serving a pivotal role in the former Kingdom's daily operation was his primary work for the Kingdom.

In the Republic, Furxhéir founded Talossa Weekly, a praised weekly magazine about the day to day events of the Republic which he operated between October 2004 and March 2005 for a total of 25 issues, with new editions since August 25th 2005. He also published several articles for Qator Itrìns. He is a member of the PSD party. With Chris Gruber, he is the co-creator of ESTO.

Mr. Furxhéir is married to Marïa-Crestin Cál, Friend of the Republic. Both are the parents of Korallia Furxhéir (three years old). The whole familly lives in a suburb of Montréal, Québec, Canada. Furxhéir and Cál own and operate a Web hosting company together, and Mr. Furxhéir is also a Software Developper of Windows applications for a US corporation.
